Hello folks,
Welcome and I hope this finds you bearing up well. I’m having a surprisingly creative and enjoyable second wave. All these amazing creative and healing folks are going online, offering the kinds of meetings that I’d have loved to have done but distances and money would have made impossible. Now they’re happening online. I’m doing some writing courses and viola lessons myself and offering some courses that you might like to take.
I’m also delighted to find out that Campbell Ceilidh has been nominated for Community Project of the Year at the Na Trad Awards!
Hot on the heels of the US general election, the Trad music world crowns this years’ valiant efforts of individuals, organisations and the industry. Despite the gruelling conditions, it’s pretty great to pay attention to the good stuff going on.
If you’ve experienced it, please consider voting for Campbell’s Ceilidh as Community Project of the Year (category 5). Voting closes Sunday 15th November at midnight. And check out the other acts and their amazing music.
Campbell’s Ceilidh is a beautiful thing and it makes us feel good every Sunday evening, which feels needed right now. Thank you for coming and making it happen.
